Grain-free Banana, Honey and Cinnamon Biscuits

Banana Cinnamon and Honey Biscuits



These grain, nut, egg and refined sugar free biscuits are a little bomb of flavour!!


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup mashed ripe banana
  • 1 Tblspn raw honey
  • 1 Tblspn psyllium husk
  • 55g extra virgin olive oil
  • pinch himilayan salt
  • 1 tspn ground cinnamon
  • 45g sunflower seed meal
  • 40g tapioca flour
  • 55g coconut flour

METHOD:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Place all wet ingredients into a bowl, along with the physllium husk. Mix well and sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add remaining ingredients into the same bowl and stir.
  4. On prepared baking tray, roll into golf-ball sized balls and flatten slightly.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
