Slow-Cooked Lamb Shanks
Gluten, Dairy, Egg, Nut and Sugar Free
INGREDIENTS:
- 6 Lamb Shanks
- 2 Tblspn ground Turmeric
- 1 Leek (white part only, finely chopped)
- 2 Cloves Garlic (finely diced)
- 2 tsp Himalayan Salt
- 300ml Bone Broth/Filtered Water
- 1/2 cup Coconut Aminos
- 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- Cracked Pepper to taste
METHOD:
- Measure out liquids and seasonings and spices into a jar and mix together.
- Place all ingredients into a slow cooker.
- Cook on low/medium heat for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours. You really can’t overcook these at all, so if you go over in time they will still be ok!!
- Serve with a side of cooked vegetables, veggie mash or rice.
