Oven Roasted Cabbage




Cabbage can be more than coleslaw and sauerkraut. This crispy roasted cabbage has just the right amount of spices added. Cabbage is an extremely healthy food. an impressive nutrient profile loaded with high amounts of vitamins C and K. Cabbage comes in a variety of colours and any of them will work with this recipe.


INGREDIENTS:


  • 1/2 cabbage thinly sliced (8 cups)
  • 4 tablespoons (80mls) extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground smokey paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1-2 teaspoons himalyan salt





METHOD:


  1. Preheat oven to 210Β°C,
  2. Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix together.
  3. Cook for 20 minutes turning half way through.
  4. Serve while still warm.
