The Best Dairy-Free Icing Ever!! Gluten, Diary, Nut and Egg Free
One the thing about being diary and nut free is being able to find a great icing! There are plenty of ways to use different types of nuts to achieve a lovely icing consistency, it’s worth a look at if you can have nuts! I would have to say that this dairy free icing is a great substitute and tastes fantastic!
- 60g Vegan Cream Cheese
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 1 T Natural Vanilla Extract
- 2 T freshly squeezed lime juice
- Cream cream cheese until light and fluffy
- Add icing sugar and mix well
- Combine vanilla and lime juice
- Use as needed on cakes or biscuits
The icing will keep well covered in the fridge. Once iced, cakes are best kept in the fridge.
Vegan cream cheese can be purchased at most supermarkets.
