Tacos – Gluten, Dairy, Egg, Nut and Grain Free

Tacos – the way we like them.

They are healthy and the kids love eating with their fingers!!  Our tacos are additive free and we always buy organic produce when we can – you really can taste the difference.  This is a quick meal for those busy days and you can change the salad ingredients for anything you have on hand or like….

Beef Mixture

  • 500g additive free lean beef mince
  • 1 serving of taco seasoning 
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1 zucchini grated
  • 3 tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 cup filtered water

Salad Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 carrots grated
  • 1 Lebanese cucumbers sliced and quartered
  • 1 punnet cherry tomatoes quartered
  • 1 butter lettuce (leaves washed)
  1. Place beef, onion and garlic into large frypan and cook until brown
  2. Add taco seasoning and mix
  3. Place all other ingredients into frypan mix and bring to boil.
  4. Simmer for 20-30 minutes
  5. Meanwhile, prepare salad ingredients into separate bowls
  6. Once meat mixture is ready place on table and construct taco on lettuce leaf and enjoy.
