Sweet Chilli Sauce
This is my thermomix recipe for Sweet Chilli Sauce….
- 125g Whole Sweet Chilli (the smaller the chilli the hotter the flavour)
- 250g Sultanas
- 4 pieces fresh ginger cut into coin size
- 8 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp Himalayan salt
- 360g apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
- 600g Rapadura Sugar
- 250g water
- Place all ingredients in the bowl on Speed 8 for 20 seconds
- Then cook 10 minutes on Varoma on Speed 2
- Scrap sides and cook for 40 minutes on 100 degrees on Speed 3
- Poor into sterilized bottles and seal.
Makes about 4 jars.Β This would last in the cupboard for 6 months – not that it lasts that long in our house!!
can you tell me what saltanas are, I only know sultanas….thanks
