Saucy Green Beans
Gluten, Grain, Dairy, Nut, Egg and Refined Sugar Free
Vegan Friendly

The repetition of ‘sides’ for meals can get a little mundane, I know they can at my place. I’ve always been a big believer that with adding spices or sauces to any dull meal the addition can make it amazing.
The humble green bean is no exception. They have been a stable on many Australian meat and three veg plates for years. If you (or the kids) aren’t keen on eating beans, this might just change your mind.
INGREDIENTS:
- 200-250g green beans (cut into 3cm pieces)
- 3 tablespoons tahini (hulled or unhulled)
- 3 tablespoons coconut aminos *
- 2 tablespoons raw honey
- 1 clove garlic diced
- pinch himalayan salt
- 1/3 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

METHOD:
- In a jar mix tahini, coconut aminos, honey, garlic, salt and paprika and set aside.
- Place beans and oil into a frypan and fry for up to 5 minutes, until the beans start to soften.
- Remove from heat, pour over sauce and mix through. Serve and enjoy.
NOTES:
* Tamari or soy sauce can be used in place of coconut aminos remembering that soy sauce will not make this meal gluten free.
