Garlic Roasted Chickpeas

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 x tin of chickpeas (drained and rinsed – see notes)
  • 2Β tsp Ground Garlic
  • 1Β tsp Fine Himalayan Salt (or salt of choice)
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbl Extra Virgin Olive Oil

METHOD:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Place all ingredients into small mixing bowl andΒ mix gently together until chickpeas are coated
  3. Pour chickpeas onto prepared baking tray
  4. Cook for 40 minutes, or until chickpeas are crispy, tossing every 10 minutes to allow the chickpeas to cook evenly
  5. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.

NOTES:Β  Don’t forget to hold onto the liquid from the chickpeas (known as aquafaba) that stuff is liquid gold if you have an egg allergy.
