Garlic Roasted Chickpeas
Gluten, Dairy, Egg, Nut and Sugar Free
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 x tin of chickpeas (drained and rinsed – see notes)
- 2 tsp Ground Garlic
- 1 tsp Fine Himalayan Salt (or salt of choice)
- 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Tbl Extra Virgin Olive Oil
METHOD:
- Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees
- Place all ingredients into small mixing bowl and mix gently together until chickpeas are coated
- Pour chickpeas onto prepared baking tray
- Cook for 40 minutes, or until chickpeas are crispy, tossing every 10 minutes to allow the chickpeas to cook evenly
- Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
NOTES: Don’t forget to hold onto the liquid from the chickpeas (known as aquafaba) that stuff is liquid gold if you have an egg allergy.
