Easy Garam Marsala

When you stop eating processed foods, you start to add flavour’s by using herbs and spices and your spice rack starts to grow. Most blends of spices (think curry powder, chinese five spice, za’atar and dukkah) are made up of a combination of singular spices you probably already have. Garam Marsala is one of these spice blends. While it can be made with up to 10 ingredients, this simple recipe is made with just 4 and is a staple within my pantry.
INGREDIENTS:
- 40g ground cumin
- 40g ground cardamom
- 20g ground cloves
- 20g ground cinnamon
METHOD:
- Measure all ingredients into an airtight container or jar and shake well.
- Keep in a cool, dry place until needed.

* Depending on how much you use, easily halve or double the measurements listed.
