Choc-Orange Biscuits

Gluten, Egg, Dairy and Nut Free

Makes 24

Orange Choc Biscuits (orange & choc chips)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Gluten Free Plain Flour (270g)
  • 1 cup Coconut Sugar (135g)
  • 1 tsp Allergy Friendly Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Arrowroot Flour
  • 1/2 tsp fine Himalayan Salt
  • 1 cup Cacao Nibs (150g)
  • 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
  • 5 Tbl Coconut Milk
  • 2 Tbl Freshly squeezed Orange Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Orange Zest
  • 1 tsp Natural Vanilla Extract

Method:

  1. Preheat oven 180 degrees
  2. Prepare baking trays with coconut oil
  3. Place all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well
  4. Place all wet ingredients into a small bowl and mix together
  5. Add wet ingredients into dry bowl and combine
  6. Roll together heaped spoonful amounts of mixture and place onto prepared baking tray,Β flatten slightly with fingers
  7. Bake in oven for approximately 17 minutes or until lightly brown on top
  8. Allow to cook before removing from baking tray
