Choc-Orange Biscuits
Gluten, Egg, Dairy and Nut Free
Makes 24
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Gluten Free Plain Flour (270g)
- 1 cup Coconut Sugar (135g)
- 1 tsp Allergy Friendly Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Arrowroot Flour
- 1/2 tsp fine Himalayan Salt
- 1 cup Cacao Nibs (150g)
- 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
- 5 Tbl Coconut Milk
- 2 Tbl Freshly squeezed Orange Juice
- 1/2 tsp Orange Zest
- 1 tsp Natural Vanilla Extract
Method:
- Preheat oven 180 degrees
- Prepare baking trays with coconut oil
- Place all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well
- Place all wet ingredients into a small bowl and mix together
- Add wet ingredients into dry bowl and combine
- Roll together heaped spoonful amounts of mixture and place onto prepared baking tray,Β flatten slightly with fingers
- Bake in oven for approximately 17 minutes or until lightly brown on top
- Allow to cook before removing from baking tray
