Avocado Dip

Gluten, Dairy, Egg, Nut and Added Sugar Free

Never buy avocado dip again – make your own healthy, additive free version!! All you need is a blender, avocado and few other ingredients that you will already have at home!!

As we have dairy allergies and intolerances in our house and we use avocado dip as a healthy sour cream substitute for Mexican foods and on top pizzas for that ‘creamy cheesey’ taste.  It’s a staple in our fridge.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 x Avocados (I prefer reed avocados and it is one fruit I always buy organic)*
  • 1 x lime (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 x cloves of garlic
  • Handful fresh coriander
  • Himalayan Salt and Cracked Pepper (to taste)

 

METHOD

  1. Place garlic into blender and pulse a few times.
  2. Add all other ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth
  3. Place into air-tight container and keep in fridge until needed.

NOTES:

* I love using reed avocados – they are not as readily available as other varieties, but are my favourite avocado by far!
